ANTINOVS

The Religion of Antinous is a Gay Religion, dedicated to homosexual spirituality. We are devoted to Antinous of Bithynia who was a real person...a beautiful boy loved by the Roman Emperor Hadrian in a relationship which was openly homosexual. Antinous was declared a god after he died mysteriously in the Nile river, in the year 130. Hadrian spread the Religion of Antinous around the Roman world, promoting Antinous as the savior of the world, and the bringer of peace.
Antinous is a the God of Homosexuality, we recognise HIM as the savior of all gay men, through the power of his beauty which awakens us to the beauty of the cosmos, and prepares our souls for transfiguration. Homosexuality is Sacred, and Antinous is the manifestation of the Divine Gay essense. Through love of our own kind, we are made aware of self-love, and the origin of celestial love...and with secret in our heart, we are made divine, through the grace and beauty of Antinous.
This Temple is devoted to the resurrection of the religion of Antinous. Who-so-ever chooses to follow Him and call out to Him, is free to contemplate and venerate Antinous after the manner of their heart...Alone.
The pages of this introduction are intended to present the true and living mystery of Antinous to a world in need of beautiful boys capable of demonstrating that we are all divided sparks of a single fire, that we are each of us, sovereign deities. This introduction is an abbreviation of the many-sided Religion of Antinous. Though subject to research, this is only an attempt at theological speculation on the wide mysteries of Antinous, the last god of Rome.
